I got to meet Chef Mike Betts when he came to our house to cook for a private party that my parents were hosting. Afterwards, he invited me and my family to join him and his family and friends at a Pop-Up Dinner as part of his Loophole Dining adventure.
The food he served was outstanding, even by my high standards: the tuna tartare, the chicarron spoons, the quiche lorraine, and much more, oh so yummy!
The event also featured art by his wife, Moe. She is super talented, not to mention funny and beautiful, two traits I seek out in friends. Check her out.
All of us kids also got to decorate the room with sticky notes. This one was, of course, my favorite.
