Today my parents dropped me off at camp. It’s an all boys camp in the middle of Vermont with serious camp craft (fire building!) and arts and water sports, just totally old school. No electronics. My mommy will blog from a letter or two I send from camp over the next three week, maybe. We’ll see. You know what they say, “No mail, no meal, no blog.”
But, for now, I leave you and my velvet blazers behind, and discover (from the camp’s website) that there are “many ways to be a man: you can be an artist, an athlete, or an actor; you can be loud or quiet; you can be a leader or a follower… Choosing who you want to be and what you want to do takes time; camp gives you that time.”
See you in August!
